Seven more plans will be announced in the next days by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce & Industry, in the context of the implementation of the Recovery Plan.
Seven new funding programmes are expected to be announced soon by the Ministry, including the €30 million Plan for the Digital Upgrade of Businesses (successive calls of €10 million are planned, the first expected this month and funded through European Structural Funds and the Recovery Plan).
The Plan for the Support of Large Companies in the Manufacturing Sector will be announced in July, with a budget of €7 million. Between October and November, the Plan for Enterprises engaged in Manufacturing and Trading of Agricultural Products will also be announced. The budget will be €13.3 million and will also be covered by the Recovery Fund.

In addition, the Ministry of Energy is in the process of evaluating the applications submitted in the context of the announcement of last year’s three programmes. These are programmes related to Strengthening the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Manufacturing sector and other targeted economic activities, with a budget of €50 million. After the evaluation of the applications, the Ministry is expected to send the relevant approvals.
The programme for the Funding to SMEs, through the Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund, for the protection of their intellectual property rights (including trade marks, designs and patents) is currently open, the deadline being set for the 16th of December.
