The award ceremony of the Cyprus Export Award took place yesterday, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Presidential Palace, an anniversary as the Awards completes 40 years of life.
The Awards, co-organised by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), were presented by the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, rewarding the exceptional efforts of Cypriot companies in making an impact abroad, but also recognising the value of the Awards themselves as one of the longest and most successful partnerships between the public and private sector of Cyprus.
The companies that were awarded, by category, are:
A. Awards for Industrial Products 1. The Award for small industrial units, with a staff of less than 50 people, was awarded to the company LISCO FOODSTUFF LTD.
2. The Award for industrial units with a staff of more than 50 people, was awarded to the company REMEDICA LTD.
B. Award for Services 1. In the field of financial services, the award was given to CEDAR ROSE INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD.
2. In the field of maritime transport and merchant shipping, the company MSC SHIPMANAGMENT LTD was awarded.
3. In the field of telecommunications, informatics and information the award was given to AEON PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
4. The General Service Award was received by NIPD GENETICS PUBLIC LTD.
A special honorary distinction was also awarded to HERMES AIRPORTS, in recognition of its contribution during the pandemic, which helped the tourism sector to operate, even under adverse conditions.
